Information Page

T.I.P.S.  net (Training, Information, and Public Service) is a general purpose net used by amateur radio operators within the state of Connecticut and surrounding areas. This net often has topics of discussion like those listed above as well as many other topics and "open" topic nights. All amateur radio operators are welcome to check in, even if you do not wish to participate in the discussion. There is also time for announcements and "swap and sell". Please check in on any of the linked repeaters every Tuesday evenings at 1930 local (ET).

The repeaters are as follows: (all are PL 77.0 Hz unless noted)
146.730 New Milford CT (PL 77 or 192.8 Hz),   441.850 Washington CT,   224.320 Warren CT,   441.550 Harwinton CT,   145.370 and 447.225 Torrington CT,   147.345, 224.360, and 442.600 Vernon CT,   444.550 Naugatuck CT,   444.650 Bristol CT,   146.730 Norwich CT, 444.100 Killingly CT, 147.285 Sharon CT, and 147.505 West Haven CT.

The Net is also available on ECHOLINK at node numbers  1124 (NA1RA),   147345 (KB1AEV).
