NA1RA

Northville Amateur Radio Association

MONDAY:

Our NA1RA 2-Meter weekly nets run on Monday nights at 7:30pm except on the night we run our bi-monthly meetings at the VFW hall in New Milford, CT. Frequency is 146.73 Mhz and a PL of 192.8 Hz. All hams are welcome. You do not need to be a member of our club to participate in our net. All we ask is that you follow good amateur practice and listen to the net control station. This is a good chance for our members to practice running a net so don't be shy volunteer!

THURSDAY:

Thursday nights at 8:00pm is our Skywarn net. New schedule to be posted soon.

SUNDAY:

Sunday nights at 8:00pm our system is linked to the KB1AEV repeater system for the CT A.R.E.S net. This net has linked repeaters statewide so all 5 sections can participate. The purpose of this net is to pass information among the A.R.E.S. leadership, all A.R.E.S. members are welcome to check in to the net.

SKYWARN:

On an as needed basis our system may be linked up to another system such as KB1AEV to run Skywarn nets during a Skywarn activation. Skywarn has activated several times this year as a result of the significant weather we've had so far. Please give the weather nets FULL access to the system until the nets are complete. These nets are usually short in duration and the weather data reported the the NWS is extremely important! Go to www.ctskywarn.com to learn more or for information on becoming a weather spotter.
